ENGAGEMENT & RETENTION
MARKETING PROPOSAL

Project completed as a Project Manager alongside team of other consultants

in FALL 2021 through UMBRA, a student organization

PROJECT OBJECTIVE:

Increase engagement with and retention of college-age T1D population

BACKGROUND RESEARCH

  • Compiled research for Type 1 Diabetes, the non-profit itself, and their current campus presence

  • Developed and distributed survey in order to gain insight into T1D community

RECOMMENDATIONS

  • Strategized to provide multiple recommended solution sets to achieve objective

SOLUTION 1: CAMPUS PARTNERSHIPS

  • Described specific partnership opportunities with different UT campus organizations and steps to spark these relationships

  • Examined pros and cons of strategy implementation

SOLUTION 2: MENTORSHIP PROGRAM

  • Created multiple mentorship structure ideas and examined pros and cons of each

  • Developed recruitment and program suggestions

INDIVIDUAL CONTRIBUTIONS AS PROJECT MANAGER

  • Developed project calendar, created weekly deliverables, and delegated team member responsibilities

  • Communicated weekly with client to provide updates and schedule meetings

  • Compiled all information into final report document and presentation

  • Led strategizing efforts throughout designing thinking process

  • Designed all client-facing materials
